The MultiMix 8 USB FX from Alesis is an eight-channel mixer that contains a complete USB recording interface. Whether you’re manipulating your sound live or polishing the final product in a recording studio, the MultiMix 8 USB FX is outfitted to give you ultimate control over your audio. Onboard volume, pan, and EQ controls allow you to make adjustments quickly without sacrificing accuracy. A two-channel, five-stage, multicolor LED meter lets you effortlessly monitor the main output level at a glance. Its enlarged layout gives you plenty of space to maneuver, while its sleek design includes new, removable end caps that help you fit the mixer into snug spaces.

Channels 1-4 offer switchable high-pass filtering (at 80Hz), allowing you to manually reduce low-frequency rumbling, handling, and wind noise. These channels also offer high- and low-shelving EQs, independent gain trims, and independent pan controls, so you can instantly adjust your mix on the fly.
Channels 5/6 and 7/8 are configured as a stereo pair at the level, EQ, and pan controls, letting you easily achieve stereo sound in your live mixes and recordings.

This mixer is packed with features so you can mix an outstanding performance anywhere, making it the ideal addition to any home studio, live performance, podcasting, video editing, and larger production studio environments. Internal effects processors allow you to add extra depth to live sound or enhance existing recordings, while DSP effects include spacious reverbs, delays, phasers, and much more.

Simply use the included USB connection to plug the mixer into your Mac or PC to get started—no need to install software drivers. Bidirectional stereo playback lets you record the stereo Main output into your computer and listen back, using the mixer to interface software to headphones or monitoring speakers.

Enhance your mix with the MultiMix 8 USB FX’s included bundle of professional software, including the AIR Mini Grand virtual piano, DB-33 virtual organ, and Eleven Lite (which features over 20 premium guitar, amp, and effect models).

Incorporate this mixer into any setup with its expanded connectivity options. Its 4 XLR inputs with independent gain on Channels 1-4, each with a selectable 48V-phantom power supply to accommodate both dynamic and condenser mics. A high-impedance input on Channel 2 lets you directly connect a guitar or bass. Also included is a Tape RCA stereo input so you can connect a CD or LP player. Rounding out the I/O is a stereo, ¼” headphone output with independent level control, and TRS Line inputs are available on all 8 channels.
