The Strike Pro Special Edition Kit from Alesis is a professional-caliber electronic drum kit. This kit maintains the natural feel and familiarity of acoustic drums while incorporating the versatility and capability of electronic drums. This eleven-piece kit is comprised of a full-sized 20” kick pad, a 14” dual-zone snare pad, four dual-zone tom pads, a moveable hi-hat system, and a triple-zone ride with choke.
The Stroke Pro Special Edition fundamentally redefines how it feels to play an electronic drumkit. Its patented Alesis dual-zone mesh drumheads allow for unprecedented playing response while delivering an authentic, acoustic-feeling percussive experience that’s faster and easier than ever before.
Add to that the updated cymbal design of the 16” ride cymbal, 14” crash, and 14” hi-hat: these are covered with an innovative thick, comfortable rubber to give you the perfect balance of feel, control, bounce, and volume. Each cymbal boasts a large bell area for better playability, as well as a quieter response that gives you precision control over your volume.
Versatile and powerful, the Strike Performance Drum Module is the centerpiece of the Strike Kit. Its easy-to-read 4.3-inch color LED display gives you at-a-glance updates of your settings. Boasting onboard sampling capability, it comes with a built-in sound library of over 136 custom kits made from over 1800 instruments and 45,000 samples. Compatible with most music production software, this module includes a free download of the Strike Software Editor that enables you to create custom drumkits and transfer it to the module via USB. The Strike Performance Drum Module also incorporates 16GB external card storage and USB/MIDI connectivity.
