The SMT25 is an optional low profile shock mount system with nylon cable and thumbscrew for positioning Audix microphone models SCX25A, SCX1, ADX51, and TM1. The SMT25 is a professional, simple to use shockmount sustem that attaches to any standard microphone stand with either 3/8” or 5/8” threads. The 3/8” threaded inset allows the SMT25 to be used with European-style mic stands. To use with 5/8” mic stands, simply remove the adapter. Optimized for use with a wide variety of microphones, the SMT25 will work with microphones having an OD (outer diameter) of .82” - 1.06” / 21 mm - 27 mm.
