The ACTION-515A from DAS Audio is a 15", 2-way powered point source speaker that's an ideal solution for fixed installations and portable PA applications alike.

A moderately-sized unit that’s packed with power, the ACTION-515A from DAS Audio’s ACTION-500 speaker series is a 15 inch, 2-way passive point source speaker. This system is specifically engineered to fit a wide range of applications, from fixed installation sound systems to portable PA. It’s great for sound reinforcement in live performance venues, bands, DJs, and other performers, music playback, A/V systems, conferences, and presentation. It delivers particularly awesome audio quality to speech and vocals.

Combining a 15M14 speaker for low frequencies with an M-34 compression driver for high frequencies, the ACTION-512A also features a 1000 Wpeak Class D amplifier to deliver stellar sound no matter what your application. Additionally, its DAScontrol™ interface uses a high-range 24-bit DSP, while its rear LCD screen gives you access to a selection of presets, EQ modes, delay, gain control, and signal source mix.

The ACTION-515A features a rotatable horn with 90º (horizontal coverage) x 60º (vertical coverage) dispersion. This allows the speaker to be used not only vertically but also rotated to a horizontal orientation to be used in a fixed installation, as a stage monitor, or even as a front fill. The ACTION-515A boasts a frequency range of 47 Hz to 20 kHz, while it has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
