DPA’s 2028 vocal microphone is a professional stage mic that provides natural sound, high separation from nearby sound sources, and handles very high SPLs. Exceptionally controlled directional quality, superb definition and true dynamics make the 2028 an excellent choice for live performances of all kinds. The 2028 mic comes in different configurations to use wired or with compatible wireless systems.

Capsule has an incredibly flat off-axis response and supercardioid polar pattern. These features give the mic high gain-before-feedback and make it easier for sound engineers to handle bleed from instruments nearby for a natural pick up of off-axis sounds.

Three-step pop protection grid works wonders to remove unwanted wind and pop noise. Innermost layer is metal pop filter, encased by a foam windscreen, all of which is covered by a black metal grille. The grille also helps the mic handle damage from frequent use and travel.

Design works to deliver the same open and transparent sound from other DPA microphones. It needs little to no EQ to sound like you are standing next to the singer, creating a better listening experience, and putting less strain on a vocalist.
