The Zoom F1 field recorder with lavalier mic is an excellent solution for videographers to get professional quality video and audio. Together, the F1 recorder and LMF-1 lavalier mic can record high-resolution audio up to 24 bit/96 kHz. Packing all the necessary features into a compact recording device and lav mic, the F1-LP is perfect for interviews, mobile journalism, content creation, and more.

Loaded with key videography features, the F1 has the essentials for any recording. Buttons on the F1 are activated with one touch, and a monochromatic display makes sure it’s easy to see your settings even in the brightest light. Auto Lock is a must-have: the Record Hold function or the Hold Switch can function to prevent the subject from accidentally hitting buttons during recording. Audio levels stay safe throughout spikes with an on-board limiter and auto-level control. Power up and connect in whatever way works best for you. The F1 can run on two AA batteries or the AD-17 power adapter (sold separately), and recordings can be transferred either in card reader mode or audio interface mode (directly to your computer).

The F1’s size is convenient for mobile use and allows it to be hidden from the camera. Attach the F1 recorder to a belt, waistband, or slip it into a pocket. The LMF-1 mic is also easy to conceal and use while moving around since it is a lavalier design and connects directly to the F1 recorder.

Not only does the lavalier’s direct connection to the recorder make setup and filming more convenient, but it also eliminates the need for a wireless bodypack system. This cuts down on cost upfront and benefits your recordings by removing the noise and interference commonly associated with belt packs.

Although the LMF-1 lavalier microphone is included, the F1 recorder can also be used with Zoom’s other interchangeable mic capsules. Give yourself more options for recording by adding any compatible capsules.
