Teranex Mini converters are often used for broadcast, postproduction, and professional video applications. Their compact and durable construction along with rack mountable design makes the converters well-suited for portable racks as well, often used at live events or in broadcast trucks. This rack shelf allows up to three Teranex Mini converters to be mounted side by side.
Innovative thermal design uses crossflow cooling to keep converters running perfectly in the rack mount setup. Thermal subsystem and internal heat pipe assist with cooling, and air flow is continuous with minimal noise. In the rack mount setup, all converters work together, with variable speed fans pulling from one unit to the next for optimal air flow. For extra protection, if one fan fails the adjacent Teranex Mini increases fan speed to prevent overheating.
