This 5” member of the innovative MSP Series of powered studio monitors is a compact, yet feature-packed reimagining of the renowned MSP7 STUDIO, boasting a two-way bi-amplified bass reflex system—all in a lower-profile build that lets you fit it into restricted spaces such as project studios or smaller-scale DAW setups.
What differentiates the MSP5 is its woofer and enclosure sizes and amplifier power: this monitor is comprised of a 5” cone woofer driven by a 40W amp, as well a 1” titanium-dome tweeter driven by a 27W amp. Both woofer and tweeter are engineered with advanced magnetic structures, resulting in exceptionally low distortion. The tweeter offers a unique waveguide horn that gives you a broad, uniform high-frequency dispersion over 120 degrees, allowing you to hear optimized audio no matter where you are in your space. Meanwhile, other design features such as the advanced driver, low-diffraction rounded baffle, and enclosure—have been specifically chosen to ensure smooth, uniform sound dispersion. The MSP5’s flat frequency response of out to 40kHz makes it the ideal choice for mastering projects.
