The ew 100 ENG G4 Camera Lavalier + Plug-on Transmitter Set from Sennheiser includes all the tools you need to achieve optimal versatility and user-friendliness for professional quality video sound on the go. This set includes the ME 2-II lavalier mic as well as an SKP 100 plug-on transmitter, which attaches to a dynamic XLR mic or battery-powered shotgun (sold separately).

Built for the rigors and high expectations of Electronic News Gathering (ENG), this multi-purpose wireless set is ideal for capturing excellent speech intelligibility for applications such as mobile journalism, field recording, video sound, interviews, and more. The powerful SKP 100 turns any wired dynamic mic into a wireless transmitter. Meanwhile, the clip-on ME 2-II lavalier mic features an omnidirectional pickup pattern that easily captures surrounding sound.

Its Easy Setup function automatically scans and selects the best frequencies available and takes advantage of the UHF spectrum. The wireless synchronization between transmitter and receivers is streamlined via infrared, while up to 12 receivers can be linked using a new functionality that lets you quickly allocate frequencies. EW G4 100 wireless components enjoy up to 330 feet (100 meters) of transmission range for increased freedom and versatility. They boast a battery life of up to 8 hours.

The EW G4 100 offers premium components designed specifically for the rigors and high expectations of professional broadcasting. This family includes the 112P, 122P, 135P and 100 ENG sets:

  • The 112P features the omni-directional ME 2-II lav mic
  • The 122P features the cardioid ME 4 lav mic
  • The 135P swaps the bodypack transmitter and lav mic for the SKM 100 handheld transmitter and MMD 835 cardioid capsule
  • The 100 ENG includes the ME 2-II lav and adds the SKP 100 plug-on transmitter for a dynamic XLR mic or a battery powered shotgun mic (sold separately)
