RedNet 1 connects to your Dante audio-over-IP network with one Ethernet cable via the RJ45 network socket on the rear panel. Based on Audinate’s Dante technology, the RedNet 1 can transport up to 512 channels of bidirectional audio at 48 kHz sample rate over one Gigabit Ethernet link. The exact channel count varies depending on the host method in use. Designed specifically for music, recording studio, and broadcast applications, the RedNet 1 offers great power and low latency.

Pair this multichannel, bidirectional analog interface with a RedNet digital audio networking system. RedNet 1 uses the power and flexibility of Dante to create an extremely scalable, modular audio system with near-zero latency that is compatible with any other Dante-enabled device. With this capability you are able to expand I/O channel count, interface digital components, and/or bridge between Pro Tools | HD or MADI and a Dante audio network. Installation and synchronization with other systems is no longer a hassle with the included RedNet Control software, which performs remotely over the network with options to set the sample rate, clocking, and analog reference levels.

Audio quality excels in this interface with 24-bit A-D/D-A conversion and 119dB dynamic range at sample rates up to 192kHz on every channel. JetPLL technology minimizes noise from the conversion process. Connect up to 8 analog inputs to the rear panel, which also has 8 analog outputs. All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced. Analog patchbay or breakout cable interfacing are both possible with AES59 standard DB25 connectors on the rear panel. Also on the rear panel is the standard IES main inlet (100-240V AC). Remote control is possible via the Dante network, so the interface itself can be setup anywhere with 2U of vertical rack space and at least 13.8 inches of rack depth. LED indicators on the front panel confirm network status, sample rate, reference level, per-channel signal level, and more.
