For professional benefits at a lower price tag, digital wireless system ATW-2192xb in Audio-Technica’s 2000 Series is a solid option. The 2000 Series is a wireless system designed to work well in many applications, including MI/live performance, fixed installation, public address, A/V rental, and houses of worship. With versatile functions in the receiver and the mobility of headworn microphone, ATW-2192xb works well for speakers and performers who need a mic that will stay secure as they move around.

Receiver ATW-R2100b automatically scans for the best available frequency at setup. Ten compatible user-switchable channels can be operated simultaneously in one of two UHF frequency ranges. Quality sound is ensured with adjustable squelch system fighting interference and automatic switching if interference occurs for dropout-free performance. Antennas are detachable, and several output connections are available on the front and rear panel of the receiver. LCD display on the receiver’s front panel clearly communicate status of different sound adjustments.

Battery-operated bodypack transmitter ATW-T210A allows hands-free use and convenient range of motion. Unique to many bodypack transmitters, the ATW-T210A includes the power and mute functions in one button. Able to operate dynamic and electret condenser microphones and Hi-Z instrument pickups, this transmitter has low and high impedance input connections, as well as DC bias voltage connection. Each input includes a locking 4-pin HRS-type input connector, trim controls, and a ten-position channel selector switch. Adjustment controls are housed behind the battery door, protecting them from accidental changes.

Attaching to the bodypack is detachable headworn microphone BP892xcW-TH. Featuring an omnidirectional pattern, this headset mic provides outstanding pickup, creating natural vocal reproduction. Lightweight earpiece hooks securely behind either ear, and rotating capsule housing with talk-side indicator helps optimize polar pattern placement. Delivering highly intelligible, natural audio with flat extended frequency response, speakers of all kinds appreciate the quality and ease of use this mic and wireless system offer.
