For professional benefits at a lower price tag, digital wireless system ATW-2120b in Audio-Technica’s 2000 Series is a solid option. The 2000 Series is a wireless system designed to work well in many applications, including MI/live performance, fixed installation, public address, A/V rental, and houses of worship. With versatile functions in the receiver and the convenience of handheld transmitter ATW-T220a, this system works well for houses of worship, presentations, Q&A sessions, and other public speaking venues.

Receiver ATW-R2100b automatically scans for the best available frequency at setup. Ten compatible user-switchable channels can be operated simultaneously in one of two UHF frequency ranges. Quality sound is ensured with adjustable squelch system fighting interference and automatic switching if interference occurs for dropout-free performance. Antennas are detachable, and several output connections are available on the front and rear panel of the receiver. LCD display on the receiver’s front panel clearly communicate status of different sound adjustments.

Great for miking multiple people for a short time, or for performers who want mobility with the familiar feel of holding a mic, ATW-T220a handheld transmitter completes this system. Featuring a cardioid polar pattern, this dynamic battery-powered microphone focuses closely on sound in front of it, rejecting ambient noise. Intended for professional live sound venues, the cardioid element further eliminates unwanted noise with its pop filter and shockmounts. The ATW-T220A combines the power and mute functions in to one button. From the microphone to the rest of the system, ATW-2120b is well-suited to spoken applications of many kinds.
