The AT2022 X/Y Stereo Microphone from Audio-Technica features two unidirectional electret condenser capsules that provide ultimate flexibility. These capsules are arranged in an X/Y configuration that allows them to pivot from narrow (90°) to wide (120°) stereo operation and can also be folded flat for compact storage or enhanced portability. Designed with stereo recording and field sound capture in mind, this mic offers the spatial impact and realism of a live sound field, and its switchable roll-off minimizes unwanted low-frequency noise from being picked up. The AT2022 X/Y comes with a stand clamp, AA battery, fuzzy windscreen, and 0.5 m cable that terminates in a 3.5 mm stereo plug.
