Achieve accurate and highly intelligible voice reproduction with subminiature lavalier microphone AT898. Connect the lavalier to a compatible bodypack transmitter and attach the mic to your top for mobile and hands-free use. Cardioid polar pattern, small size and other features make this lav mic well-suited to use for theaters, broadcast studios, theaters, and many other public speaking applications.

Pickup the best possible sound for speaking applications with the cardioid polar pattern in this microphone. Most sensitive to sound in front of the mic element, desired sound source is comfortably isolated and background noise is left out. Open-pore foam windscreen is included to minimize pops and wind noise in close situations.

Offering unique flexibility, this condenser mic can be operated using either a 1.5V AA battery, or 11V to 52V phantom power. Frequency adjustments offer excellent ability to control your sound. Integral 80 Hz high-pass filter permits switching from flat frequency response to low-end roll-off. Roll-off position is particularly helpful in close vocal use as an internal windscreen, reducing sensitivity to pops in close vocal use. Roll-off also reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise.

Rugged exterior design helps keep the mic functioning throughout many uses and travel. Different ways to attach the lapel mic are included for extra personalization and comfort.

All AT898 models have the functions detailed above, with termination styles and cable length being model-dependent.
