Link between a Dante Ethernet-based audio system and any MADI / AES10 setup with the RedNet D64R. This bi-directional interface supports up to 64 channels of both coaxial and optical MADI interfaces, so any Dante components can be used with a MADI system, or MADI components can be used with a Dante system. Based on the RedNet 6, the D64R is a second-generation model that significantly expands capabilities in both MADI and Dante networks. With network and power supply redundancy, RedNet D64R is equipped for critical-path applications in post production, broadcast, live sound, the recording studio, and more.

Whether you have a Dante or MADI system you can add components of one to the other with RedNet D64R. Like the other interfaces in the RedNet series, D64R is fully interoperable with all other Dante network components. The bridging capability in this specific interface means you can connect this interface to Dante and MADI equipment over etherCON ports. Interfacing is even possible when the systems are not operating at the same sample rate. Synchronization is seamless with Word Clock in and out ports. Other operating modes include daisy-chaining with additional equipment, redundancy for network failure, and more. Many operating modes have LED indicators on the front panel to communicate inactive or active status.

Up to 64 channels of digital audio from a MADI system are supported with this interface when sample rate is 44.1/48kHz. Channel count decreases to 32 at 88.2/96kHz sample rate, and 16 channels at 176.4/192. The MADI varispeed mode of 56 channels is supported. MADI connectivity is routed through 2 rear-panel BNC connectors in the form of coax, as well as through an SC-Duplex connector as optical. Commonly used for large-scale digital audio systems, such as audio consoles and conversion systems, MADI allows multiple channels to be carried along one interface.
