By consolidating everything in one place, you can focus on developing phrases with the 16 multicolored LED rubber pads in the Step Edit section.

Rearrange phrases, enhance sounds, and generate original rhythms in real-time with performance features like Running Direction, Speed Modulation, and Groove Bend. The SQUID also records background performance information so you never lose successful experiments, while the Time Warp feature to recall and save sounds you love as sequence patterns that are handy to use in the future.

The SQUID Manager function makes it simple to import and export between the SQUID and your digital audio workstation. Efficiently transfer sequence patterns, projects, and MIDI clips from the sequencer to your computer, or import a sequence pattern from your DAW to the SQUID to rearrange it and then return it to the DAW. Combine the power of your DAW with modern, modular, and vintage synths, as well as drum machines thanks to the USB B terminal, MIDI terminals, 2 sets of CV/Gate outputs, and Clock and DIN Sync input/output terminals—signals are automatically converted.
