The Sennheiser e600 drum mic kit includes an e602 II for your bass drums, four e604 mics for your snare and tom, and two e614s for your cymbals and overheads. Also included is a heavy-duty case for optimal protection during transport or storage.

The e602 II offers high SPL handling, fast transient response, and extended low-frequency capture of instruments. It features a dynamic element with a lightweight voice coil and a built-in hum-compensating coil for picking up loud sources devoid of noise and distortion. The cardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise and feedback, making it ideal for use on stage or in the studio. An integrated stand mount enables easy placement and provides a pivoting angle for optimal positioning.

The e604 captures frequencies between 40Hz-18kHz, doing so at SPLs over 160 dB without distortion. The e604 features a dynamic transducer, which does not require phantom power, and its cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing pickup and feedback at the off-axis sections of the capsule. An integral stand mount screws directly onto mic stands, but the included clip of the microphone attaches the microphone to the rim of a drum or the bell of saxophones. A slight bump between 4 and 5 kHz allows instruments to cut through the mix.

The e614 delivers an extended frequency response, high SPL handling, fast transient response, and more. Its compact build makes it easy to fit into tight spaces. The supercardioid polar pattern makes it easy to “aim” the mic toward the desired sound source, eliminating ambient sound at the off-axis sections of the mic’s capsule. This helps in minimizing feedback and avoiding the accidental capture of residual noise. The medium sensitivity reduces “bleed” from other instruments on stage.
