The SKM 2000 from Sennheiser is a wireless handheld transmitter. Boasting a rugged metal housing, it’s built to take on the challenges of heavy-duty performance without compromising on audio quality. Its features include switchable transmission power (with up to 75 MHz switching bandwidth), 20 fixed frequency bands with up to 64 compatible presets, 6 banks each with up to 64 user-programmable channels, and pilot tone squelch for interference-free operation.
Effortlessly synchronize this transmitter with a corresponding wireless receiver using its infrared interface, making setup fast and simple. With frequency settings in 25 kHz increments, it’s easy to set up and fine-tune your audio. The SKM 2000 allows intuitive, keystroke-activated menu operation, as well as a backlit, easy-to-read graphic display that gives you settings updates in real time—even in dimmer lighting. Its Audio and RF MUTE features let you mute the transmitter when you don’t need to capture sound with it—perfect for announcements, solos, and more. Meanwhile, its auto-lock functionality prevents buttons from being accidentally pressed, so you don’t alter your settings mid-performance unless you mean to.
Built-in external charging contacts enable optional BA 2015 batteries (sold separately) to be recharged directly in the transmitter.
The SKM 100 G4 is designed for optimal compatibility with evolution wireless systems. It is compatible with all ew capsules, such as the MMK 965-1 true condenser capsule or its wired counterpart the e 965. (All microphone capsules are sold separately.)
This handheld transmitter is available in different frequency options: AW operates at 516-558 MHz and GW operates at 558-626 MHz.
