Set the snare to head, closed rim, and open rim for different strike responses. Ride cymbal can be set to edge, bow, or cup, and crash cymbal can be choked by pinching your fingers around the edge after striking.

Drum pad material is yet another feature for authentic performance and feel. Textured cellular silicone (TCS) in the snare drum pad provides a comfortable playing feel while keeping the pads themselves quiet. This foam silicone material contains countless air bubbles, creating a natural feel with the perfect level of firmness and rebound for hard strikes. Enjoyable to play, this material also has a unique floating structure that prevents vibration from strikes, keeping the pad noise thwacks at a minimum.
