The ChamSys GENETIXGN4IP is a compact Ethernet-to-DMX node built for lighting systems that need dependable network distribution in demanding environments. Its IP65-rated housing makes it suitable for productions and installations where dust resistance, outdoor exposure concerns, and physical durability matter. With one network connection and four RDM-capable DMX ports that can be assigned as input or output, it gives lighting teams flexible signal routing without adding unnecessary complexity at the rig.
This node supports both Art-Net and sACN, allowing it to fit into a wide range of modern control infrastructures. Remote setup is available through the onboard webserver, via Art-Net, or from a ChamSys console, which simplifies configuration when devices are deployed across a venue or production site. Power options include PoE for streamlined network-based deployment or mains power through the PowerCon True1 input when local power is preferred.
For practical field use, the GENETIXGN4IP includes status LEDs for quick port monitoring, an M12 threaded insert for clamp mounting, and an integrated rail for attaching a secondary safety bond when rigged. It also supports configurable DMX timings, DMX redundancy, ChamNet, and user scene storage, making it a strong fit for touring systems, temporary event infrastructure, and permanent entertainment lighting networks.
