The URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 camera from Blackmagic Design provides excellent quality through its 4.6K HDR image sensor. Capable of shooting up to 300 frames per second, the camera also features a Super 35mm 4.6K sensor with 15 stops of dynamic range. Handle varying shoot needs with the interchangeable lens mount, various recording capabilities, built-in ND filters, external broadcast style controls, and more.

Central to the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 is its Super 35mm 4.6K sensor block. The sensor is built for cinema-quality capture, picking up subtle gradients and having a large dynamic range at 15 stops. Work in the format that fits best for you: footage can be captured in Blackmagic RAW and ProRes recording to dual CFast or SD cards, or directly to external disks via the USB-C expansion port.

Adapt the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 by switching out your lens. Its interchangeable lens mount makes it quick to switch between PL, EF, F, and B4 lenses. The EF mount comes standard with this camera.

Enjoy high-quality color in your shots thanks to Blackmagic Design’s Generation 4 Color Science. Color technology delivers accurate skin tones and lifelike colors that can compete against more expensive cameras. When using Blackmagic RAW, images are encoded to provide the highest amount of color data and dynamic range possible.

Quickly and easily reduce the amount of light entering the camera with built-in ND filters. Filters are set at 2, 4, and 6 stops, matching the camera’s colorimetry and color science.

Several functions are available directly on the camera body. Professional connections support working with a wide variety of other gear, and multiple power options are available. Built-in microphones offer quality sound recording, helping you get quality work with less gear. Touchscreen folds out for convenient monitoring of and control over all your camera settings.

Battery Recommendations

  • Do not use the battery (Main, D-Tap, USB) while charging. If so, it may cause a charging error or damage the charger.
  • Charge the battery to full before first use
  • When you charge this battery, Battery capacity LED gauge button will turn on indicating the capacity being charged
  • Lithium ion batteries have a slight self discharge, therefore it is recommended to charge prior to use
  • Camera's low voltage alarm is recommended to set 13~13.5V
  • Battery will stop at 12V to extend its life
  • Microwave transmitters with 5W outputs or over should be kept as far away from the battery. It may disrupt or stop supplying power.
  • Be sure to remove the battery from the device after use. If not removed, it will consume large standby power and over-discharge protection may be activated.
  • USB is activated by pushing Battery capacity LED gauge button and turns on automatically after 30 minutes of no use
  • Battery run time reduces when it is working below or above the recommended temperature range
