Open Positions

Digital Content Creator

We are hiring a highly motivated and creative individual to join the Sound Productions team as our Digital Content Creator. In this role, you will be responsible for designing print and digital assets, capturing and editing short-form videos, creating and implementing social media content, and managing in-person training events and trade shows. The ideal candidate should have graphic design experience, video editing and compilation skills, a strong understanding of social media platforms and strategy, and excellent verbal communication skills.  

 

This role has the opportunity for a hybrid model with the expectation that some days will be worked in person at our office, and some could be worked remotely from a home office. SoundPro has offices in Irving, Texas and Madison, Wisconsin and we will be considering applications for either location. Fully remote applications will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities: 
GRAPHIC DESIGN (40%): 
• Develop and design marketing materials, including social media graphics, web banners, digital and print marketing campaigns, event marketing materials, and signage. 
• Design and management of all SoundPro swag (t-shirts, gear, etc.) 
 
SHORT FORM VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY (30%): 
• Capture compelling images and create short-form video content for social media platforms. This includes organic video content (unboxings, influencer content, etc.) for Instagram Reels/Stories. 
• Capture and edit professional video content (training videos, new product videos, etc.) using DSLR for use on YouTube. 
• Capture organic and professional photos at internal trainings, events, and trade shows. 
 
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT (20%): 
• Execute social media strategy for all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This includes copywriting for and creation of all social media content. 
• Monitor and analyze weekly social media performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports on key insights and recommendations. 
• Be an effective community manager by engaging with audiences regularly. 
• Execute influencer strategy by creating unique influencer partnerships that produce regular user-generated content for social media platforms and ad campaigns. 
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with the annual marketing calendar, product launches, and events. 
 
EVENTS (10%): 
• Coordinate and manage the logistics of various events, such as vendor training, trade shows, and customer appreciation events. 
• Coordinate event-related activities, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audiovisual setup, and guest registration. 
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, collect feedback, and recommend future improvements. 
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry influencers, partners, and community stakeholders to expand our network and enhance event participation. 
 
The ideal candidate must have: 
• A current portfolio showcasing design, copywriting, and video/photography skillset. 
• Proficient in Photoshop and/or the Adobe Creative Suite. 
• Experience taking professional photography/videography using a DSLR. 
• Proven experience managing public-facing social media accounts with clear indicators of success. 
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. 

 

Nice to haves: 
• Previous experience or interest in the pro audio/video field. 
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing successful events from start to finish. 
• Experience running influencer marketing campaigns.
