1.6-inch thick SORBER sound absorption baffles outperform the industry standard 1-inch thick baffles by at least 50%, and are especially efficient at absorbing lower frequencies. SORBER baffles feature a compressed fiberglass core that is encased in a tough Velcro-receptive charcoal gray cloth and are available in free-standing, Velcro-tackable or booth lid system models. SORBER also can be attached to walls and hung from the ceiling to dramatically improve room acoustics.
All SORBER products are extremely efficient at soaking up sound and enjoy Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) ratings greater than 90%. The ‘S’ stands for SORBER, followed by the width and height of the panels in inches. Finally, the number after the ‘x’ indicates the number panels in the system.
The S2444x2 is ClearSonic's smaller format free-standing gobo. This 44-inch high model features a cloth hinge that allows the two 24-inch wide baffles to free-stand in a ‘V’ configuration or fold in half when not in use. A built-in strap handle allows for easy transport. S2444x2 are included with many of ClearSonic's smaller format isolation packages, but can also be used as gobos around sitting horn players, amps, etc. Adjacent S2444x2 baffles can be attached together using built-in Velcro flaps. SX2412x2 Height Extenders are available to increase the baffle height to 56 inches.
