These factors equip the C430 for capturing detailed, well-balanced sound from overheads and instruments such as cymbals and hi-hats.

The C430’s capsule boasts a frequency-independent cardioid pickup pattern that ensures high gain before feedback and minimizes the noise from the sides and rear. The mic incorporates a special shock mount for the transducer element, protecting it from unwanted environmental, mechanical, or handling noise. The transducer is further protected by the mic’s all-metal build. Its enhanced frequency response delivers crisp sound that helps reduce the need for external EQs.
