Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G delivers high quality audio and video monitoring in one rack unit. Dual subwoofer design has extra wide range speakers with incredible audio, all supported by powerful class D amplifiers. Available inputs include 12G-SDI input, balanced XLR analog audio, balanced AES/EBU digital audio, and consumer level HiFi audio inputs. An HDMI 2.0 output allows monitoring for Ultra HD on big screen TVs. Colorful audio level meters and LCD screen for video monitoring provide noticeable indicators on the front panel.
Connections on the monitor support all common SD, HD, and Ultra HD video resolutions. The 12G-SDI input and HDMI 2.0 outputs support high resolution Ultra HD monitoring, connections to Ultra HD TVs and projectors using HDMI 4K. Audio and video connections are supported on the monitor, with balanced analog XLR audio, balanced AES/EBU audio, consumer level HiFi audio inputs, 12G-SDI video input, and HDMI 2.0 video output.
Advanced audio analysis technology ensures big sound from the small monitor. Wide and smooth frequency response curve offers crisp highs and powerful lows, so you hear great music and clear voice tracks even in noisy environments.
Two audio level meters on the front panel use multi-colored RGB indicators so you can always be aware of audio levels. Select the scale and meter from VU, PPM or Loudness scales and a choice of EBU or BBC meters. The dynamic range being monitored varies depending on the scale chosen, with -45 to +3 decibels, -12 to +12, or 0 to 7 ranges. Audio level meters are clear enough to see in bright or dark environments. Built-in illuminated keypad is used to select audio pairs, left and right solo, mute and input. A headphone socket allows private monitoring.
