Offering convenient hands-free and secure placement this system’s wireframe headset is ideal for speakers that need to move around. Designed as a cardioid condenser microphone, the headset mic features excellent off-axis rejection, and the included windscreen tames plosives. Neither comfort nor quality gets sacrificed since this headset microphone is flexible to wear with a polar pattern that prevents feedback and signal bleed.

The Shure BLX14/PGA31 wireless microphone system communicates between the BLX4 receiver and the BLX1 bodypack transmitter. QuickScan frequency selection finds the best available frequency for the receiver and transmitter with just one touch at setup. On the receiver are LED indicators for gain levels, microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity, and other intuitive controls for simple setup and operation.

Paired to the receiver is the BLX1 bodypack transmitter. Worn either on a belt or a guitar strap, this bodypack transmitter is lightweight and will go unnoticed by audiences and speakers alike. With a battery life of up to 14 hours and an LED indicator for low battery level, this wireless system operates through even long events. Functions such as group and channel selection and gain adjustment can be done right from the bodypack transmitter. The on/off switch is easily accessible and uses a toggle design, providing tactile indication when the transmitter is on.
