Achieve a classic, warm vintage sound with Sound Productions’ assortment of ribbon microphones. A mainstay design since the birth of microphone technology, ribbon mics are constructed with a super-thin ribbon of electrically-conductive material (usually metal such as aluminum) placed between the poles of a magnet. As sound waves vibrate the ribbon mic, the resulting electromagnetic induction produces voltage.
