Blackmagic Design’s HyperDeck Studio Series

Every member of the HyperDeck Studio series from Blackmagic Design is intended to provide versatile tools and powerful performance, no matter what your recording needs. Record broadcast-quality video files directly to SD cards and SSD media. HyperDeck Studio models boast a sleek, modern design, intuitive controls, more codecs, and quieter cooling—the perfect addition (or foundation) of any studio.

All models support recording to H.264, Apple ProRes, or DNxHD files with either PCM or AAC audio. Mount recorded media to any computer, giving you access to files from your favorite video software. When it comes to ISO recording, you can use the onboard timecode and reference generators to easily sync multiple units.

Give yourself more room to work with the HyperDeck Studio HD Plus. This model features an expanded and enhanced front panel that includes better transport control buttons, a headphone socket, and onboard speaker.

The HyperDeck Studio HD Plus adds 6G-SDI to allow for recording and playing back ProRes up to Ultra HD 30fps. It also includes an SDI loop out and HDR support. Its two 6G-SDI outputs allow fill and key playback up to 1080p60.

This model also boasts an HDMI input and a dedicated 3G-SDI monitoring output with overlays. Press any button on the front panel to send commands to a dedicated RS-422 remote output, while a broadcast-style XLR connector delivers DC power.
