The ultimate audio interface for guitarists and musicians, Sono combines Audient’s award-winning analog recording technology with world-class speaker-cab simulation from Two notes. This interface is ideal for at-home recording.
Sono combines an onboard 12AX7 analog valve and 3-band Tone control with Two notes Torpedo power amp modeling and cab simulation.

Two Audient console mic preamps deliver the professional sound quality you deserve no matter where you record. Though Sono provides a warm, classic analog tone, you have options for how to shape your sound. Fine-tune sound using Sono’s 3-band analog EQ to add body to heavy tones or extra sparkle to clean tones.

In partnership with Two Notes, the Sono interface offers Torpedo Power Amp Modelling and Cab Simulation built right in. The Torpedo software accurately emulates the sound and process of miking a guitar or bass cabinet in a studio even though you’re working from your desktop. Torpedo is built to be flexible for your performance style and the environment you’re in. Customize everything from the room type, microphone model and placement, and even stylistic tone control all from your computer.

Play through or record emulations of your favorite cabs all from the Sono interface. Over 20 cabs are included, some classics including the Marshall 4x12, Fender 2x12, Ampeg 8x10, and many more. To play with more cabs search the Two Notes online cab store.

Sono offers complete flexibility and unlimited creative possibilities with preamps and analog processing. You can choose to use the built-in preamps or bypass them to use your preamp pedals with the Two Notes cab simulation in low latency. Analog processing gives you many avenues for how to route mics or synths, create unique new tones, and add classic analog warmth.

There’s plenty of space to experiment with tones on Sono, and once you find what you love you can store up to 3 presets on board. Once stored you can start recording your favorite tones instantly.

Sono limits the amount of other gear you’ll need, such as a dedicated re-amp box. Since Sono always records a clean D.I. signal, you can re-amp at any time, eliminating the need for a dedicated re-amp box.
